About This Blog

Greeting Boys and Girls!

Within this blog, you will find some very different things.  One is over two years of  Our Local Ghouls, which you can read more about below, and there’s From the Sketchbook.   The Sketchbook draws from personal experiences – boyfriends, gym class and life.

Two Tops Fine Food and Drink, where Our Local Ghouls takes place, is a restaurant/bar in an, let’s just say, atmospheric small town on the NorthWest Coast of the United States, called Foggy Cove.  One stop light, and surrounded on three sides by either a large bay or an angry ocean, this small town is home to more bars than churches, one of which is Two Tops.

One side of Two Tops is all fine dining for the tourists who manage to find this charming, with a dark side,  hamlet.  The other side is the bar, where they can wait for their table and mix with the locals.  And by locals, we mean ghouls, vampires, Bigfoot, parallel universes ,ghosts, ETs, creatures, zombies, monsters and few human types who enjoy a drink or two administered by a mysterious bartender known only as Doctor.

I wrote and drew Our Local Ghouls for just over two years.  It’s currently “retired” but never say never.  I do miss the characters.

I’m also adding my paintings and photography.  I’m trying to figure out if they should be regular posts or have their own page.  I’m planning a page about my mother because she is awesome – Norma O Walker.  And who knows what else!  Be sure to stay tuned.  This blog is a work in progress and evolution – like me!

I hope you’ll find all entertaining and subscribe so as not to miss a single one on this journey.  And I love love love comments.
